We are excited to begin a blog about innovative ideas, trends in education, gifted strategies, and anything that relates to our mission or values. We strive to nurture talent every day. We encourage all our followers to take on this mission for themselves and their gifted child. Nurturing your talents should be at the forefront of your mind everyday. If you are a poet, or love creative writing, what are you doing every day that enriches this talent? Are you writing in a journal everyday? Are you a part of a writing group? Are you taking an online class?
Not only are we all about nurturing talent, we specialize in gifted teaching strategies that are grounded in educational theory and proven to be successful in research. We are confident in our curriculum because it was written with all these theories in practice. Our co-founders, Jennifer Gordievsky and Deborah Hazelton, are both professors at USC, training student teachers striving to earn their teaching credential and Master degree in the Art of Teaching. Our blog will address many ideas we are seeing in the education world. We plan on sharing cool videos that you can share with your children or students. We will have TED Tuesdays, where we blog about certain TED talks we have watched and how they connect to theory, trends, or E-gifted ideas.
